Belonging: The Woman at the Well
This week we were pleased to welcome Don Froese, Pastor at Nutana Park Mennonite Church, as our guest speaker.
This is the story of a thirsty Jesus asking for water and then offering the gift of living water to a woman who was thirsty for hope. Jesus defies the social norms of the day to truly 'see' her, demonstrating a belonging that brings hope over prejudice, shame, and the obstacles of religious tradition.
