God in the Garden

This week for our “God in the Garden” Outdoor Worship service we were pleased to welcome Dalen Applegate, MC Sask Faith Development Minister, as our guest speaker. We gathered in the Community Garden to celebrate God's creation, nature, gardening, and especially beauty and then capped things off with an old-fashioned church picnic.

Dalen and his wife, Keira, have called Saskatoon home since 2021. Dalen recently started a new role as Faith Development Minister with Mennonite Church Saskatchewan. Dalen is passionate about building relationships with youth and young adults, collaborating with church leaders and volunteers, and helping reimagine and strengthen faith development across the province.
